CERAMIC INSTALLATION

This instillation was inspired by the way Jellyfish are guided by wind that creates the water current as they do not have the strength to swim; yet they know how to survive more like we do.

 

With a series of experimental sculptural clay works and a body of work using clay and a variety of techniques to probe the nature of what it means to be in harmony, I came up with the idea of combining Jellyfish and mushrooms based on their similar rounded shapes.  

 

In this case; the mushrooms are a representation of life and the jellyfish are those gliding along with it.  

 

The idea of combining those shapes and forms, music and lighting is to create a calm and harmonious experience within the instillation reflecting our very own path.
