A Moment of Distraction

Having studied many of the different shapes and forms of mushrooms drove me to present them to in Sikka Art Fair during art week, as they are not seen in the Dubai Dessert.

 

In this installation, I recreated an organic forest that is rarely seen; in an attempt to place the viewer in an unfamiliar setting. The walk through the magical, whimsical forest of trees will project a dreamlike state of mind. 

 

The use of lighting along with the sound of the hang drum in the background will enhance the feeling of being underneath a deck in the ocean.
